Health screenings
Loris Healthcare System offers on-site health screenings including blood pressure checks, blood sugar and cholesterol checks. Prices are $20 for full finger stick screenings; $10 for cholesterol/glucose; $3 for glucose; and free for blood pressure. it is recommended that you fast 12 hours before screening. Screenings are scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon Thursday at the North Myrtle Beach Aquatic and Fitness Center. call 716-7381.

Children’s wellness day
Loris Healthcare System and Dr. Peter Blyer with Family Life Medicine will host a wellness fair especially for children.
