The bands were delayed for over a week in shipping for a free upgrade to the new handles, they arrived and I put them to use right away in the p90x exercise routine, the bands feel and look good and are great for the workouts. the problem arises that after using the bands for 3 weeks now the new improved handles are splitting at the seam….. overall the bands themselves and their basic nylon strap ends are great but the new handles added I’m guessing for comfort are worthless! I have had to wrap my handles in blk electrical tape to keep them from completely falling apart, the nylon bands the handles attach to will still allow me to use the bands but would be very uncomfortable. on a side note I use the Black Sniper Band the most with some blue and red us also, it would be excellent if they were to release a higher resistance than the sniper in the near future! the 3 I use are good and effective but I can see myself working past the resistance they provide over the next few weeks/months.

Update: I used the Bands often over last winter and into spring! was still very happy with the bands! I stopped working out over the summer and last night(Aug 26, 2009 (under a year from my Oct 8, 2008 purchase) ) to get back in the swing of things! after warming up a bit I went right to the Black sniper band, after 5 minutes of use the 2 metal rings that hold the handle onto the band broke and the band recoiled taking a nasty gash out of the door casing. the band is completely unusable now. I am trying to take advantage of the warranty but it appears the ripcord site is inaccessible so I have sent them an email through Amazon, fingers crossed!Rating: 4 / 5
