Tips to help me while running the mile for fitness test?
last year when i was in 6th grade, i had a time of 9:02 for a mile and this past fall, my time was 10:04! more than a minute added to my time! i want to be able to run the mile for fitness testing in under 9 minutes. tips for WHILE i am running the mile? and the night before? thanks!
really, when running a mile you cant just do specific things the night before and expect to be great at it or cut a min off your time by the next day. you would need to train and get into better shape by running everyday before the test. but if you dont want to do this the best advice i can give would be to get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water.
