The Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Paradise Gym of Swampscott to the organization with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Located at 21 Elm place, Paradise Gym opened in 2004 and offers new training techniques such as TRX, Kettlebells, Ladders, Ropes, Bands and Bosu Ball to name a few. Paradise Gym is also known for elite spin and kickboxing classes and instructors. all kickboxing instructors are certified and trained by Billy Blanks. New classes scheduled are Hip Hop and Boot Camp group training. in addition, Paradise Gym offers a personal training special.

all staff members are CPR-certified.

Paradise Gym General Manager Kelly Piperidis describes the gym as family-oriented, offering training for student athletes, senior citizens and everyone between.

"we have the cardio junkies, the class takers, the weekend warriors, the high school and college athletes and the competitive body builders all under one roof, and it works. People feel very comfortable here. we are lucky that we have a high member retention rate,” Piperidis says.
